Bit of a problem playing vmk

ok so my sister wanted to start playing vmk and we got it all started but the problem is

when she is out and about in vmk any character she puts her cursor over their names are just a blue box

has anyone had this problem and what can we do to fix it she messaged vmk but never got a response

No I never really have had a problem like that. Maybe its just your computer, but idk...

I have run into this problem 1) when the computer I am running is too slow, or not enough memory. 2) when I more than 2 characters on at once since my memory is not big.

I had this problem a couple of times but if I left it for day, it would work as usual

Does that happen all the time? Because it happened once for me but the next time I logged in everything was fine. Also one time when my sister logged in she couldn't see anything anyone was saying but it came up with their title in the little air bubbles.

in the beginning, when i still had my laptop. when they intorduced the cursor over avatar thing. It would not work me as well.

Later, the laptop went baboom and crashed fully.

So im guessing, i didn't have enough memory.

Now, i use my brothers old gaming computer.

And VMK Runs perfect. ( i can see the names )

No offense. but i dont think it would have anything to do with that. Sorry.

this happens to me on my kids computer- at first I thought it was a vmk pal thing but then I tried the regular vmk window and it did the same thing... I'm thinking it is memory issues

There is no problem on dh's computer it works just fine...

I have had the same problem for months, I have no idea why because as long as I only have 1 character on there is plenty of memory. I have that problem all of the time, it never goes away and it is only on my "good" computer. My kids computer does not have that problem and it has far less memory than this one. I can't figure it out either. I have reinstalled shockwave and many other things and still no fix. If you figure it out, please share.

OMG- I had this problem before. I posted it here too. Someone gave me the right answer and it fixed my situation. Maybe search back and find the thread but it had to do with screen resolution.
The game was working fine for me and one day it wasn't. I had the blue box instead of everyone's name. The cause for me was that the computer resolution was changed in my settings. (yup, I changed it for some reason) once I changed the Screen resolution back the game worked perfectly again.
I hope this helps you. I know how frustrating it is to not see all the names of the people in the room.
