Bistro de Paris or Raglan Road

Given your other ADRs, I'd def. go with Raglan Road. It's always a must do for us. I love sitting there enjoying some nice adult beverage (hard cider on tap! :thumbsup2) and listening to the band.

You mean because my other ADRs are kind of "fancy"? I can see that..... Ooh, cider? Sounds yummy - I detest beer (even guiness - tried it in Ireland and it just wasn't for me) -but I love cider.

I think I'll probably cancel Bistro and move Citricos to where I now have Bistro. I kind of hate to do it because it means I won't have any dinners in Epcot, but I guess sacrifices have to be made. I could cancel Citricos, but not sure I want to do that.

RR is irish pub food. I'm not sure where you live but around us there are multiple restaurants like it. (Even have the music some night.) I wouldn't change Bistro out for it. I'd do an earlier dinner on arrival night and then do ddt. Or since you get there at 3 maybe do a later dinner and ddt first.

Well, I've eaten at RR twice now. After seeing your other ADRs, all I can say is it's a good thing RR will be your first ADR. You can only go up from there. ;) I suppose it's okay, if you like fried, comfort foods a lot. IMHO, it's definitely not in the same league as your others. As with all restaurants, it really depends on what kind of food you like & what you're used to eating. It certainly won't hurt to give it a try for yourself. If it were me though, I'd be going to Bistro.

My thought is that Bistro is Fine Dining for quality of both food and service and generally very peaceful. Raglan Road is entirely different and more of a party atmosphere with very basic pub food.

I live on Long Island, NY. I'm sure if I wanted Irish Pub grub, I could find it in NYC - I'm not that desperate to try it, but unless I add a day to my trip, DTD has to be done that day. Now I've considered an earlier dinner and then DTD. but I'd not considered a later dinner; this might work best because I can just take the monorail back to CR. Do people at at 8:30 at night?

I really do want to keep Bistro, so I think I may do what Hannah suggested and go to DTD/late dinner. This way, I can have a sundae at Ghirardelli's to tide me over, get in some decent shopping (I don't need to go to all the stores - I'll make a list of the stores that are important to me, like World of Disney) and then have a nice, relaxing dinner.

Cheshire, I kind of think that RR is a place I'd want to do more in the middle of my trip instead of at the beginning.......and if I extend my trip another day, I can work it in easier than I can now. I love my ADRs and don't really want to change them if I can avoid it.

Thank you all for all of your help!

Yeah, if you didn't have any "fancy" ADRs, it would be an incredibly hard choice for me. But since you do, I would absolutely go to RR. But we are def. pub kinda people. ;) It's also a later dinner for us, usually 8-8:30. I'm not a beer drinker either, though I'm working on acquiring a taste for it. There are a few that I'll drink nowadays. I love me some hard cider though, and it's even yummier on tap. :thumbsup2

LOL planning for the parks is easy, but planning for meals is most definitely not.

I'll figure something out. It's not that I'm dying for Irish pub food, but it seems like a fun kind of place to hang out.........and it might be a very nice change of pace from my other "nice" ADRs.

People do eat that late... and if you dining at that time at GF you might even be able to catch a peak of Wishes. :thumbsup2

I like both Raglan Road and Bistro, so if you want to go to DTD, and since you have good French restaurants at home, I'd probably go to Raglan Road.

Oddly, I didn't see the BP on the dessert menu - and I just checked RR's website. I hope they haven't gotten rid of it.

Ger's Bread and Butter Pudding. It's quite possibly their most popular dessert, so I can't imagine it would leave the menu without an uproar.
