We (me, DH, DD8 at the time, DS 10 at the time) ate there for dinner last summer. It was DH's last night, as he had to go home and do something called "work?" I guess it's what you do to pay for these things, I call vacations, I love them, he puts up with me anyway!
We (DH and me) got some tasting menu, with wine pairings. DS ordered steak from the adult menu (he's not a cheap date). DD ordered kids' food (not for the regular kids, it's very fancy, even she didn't like her salad).
DH and I rolled out of there so happy, full, and tipsy. DS saw my salmon appetizer, of course asked for some salmon ($$$).
So fun, very expensive, DH didn't even let me SEE the bill! I know it was over $400 for the 4 of us. He said he had such a great meal, great time, it was definitely worth it!
Too bad he had to go out into a turrential downpour back to the Dolphin to change into dry clothes, and rush to the airport to get home. We enjoyed Epcot the rest of the night, so full!
It is definitely a great experience to eat there. Not cheap at all.
If you are already on the dining plan, I can't see why you would consider this. It was great, but there are so many other places to choose from.
