I'm in! I was just looking at pictures of The Lodge yesterday and it's so beautiful!

I think I was too invested in the outcome emotionally!

So excited for your family and the upgrade!! What a view!
I was very excited to get that far and keep it a secret. I can't tell you how many times I nearly spilled the beans.Woohoo, an update!!! My heart was pounding in anticipation as you ran down the hall to your room! LOL So glad the surprise went so well!
It was such a cool room location!Wow you got a great view,You are starting off to have a wonderful trip.

I LOVE the look of the WL!The driver has to be entertained somehow.Such a heartwarming chapter! Thanks, loved it.
I like that you wrote "The girls think we are going for lunch. Checking in is a surprise!" on your resort info. Too cute. I did think that you'd get a little farther before First Lady Biscuit caught on, but darn those portals of security.
Ah yes, I remember what they used to call "maps". And actually looking for road signs while driving. Now, it's a video game consisting of keep your actual vehicle aligned with the image of a vehicle on the gps screen.

WELLL the rehab they said over the phone was to be completed was not so very completed. Lobby and courtyard were both impacted.
It was an adventure

Hi GB!
I seem to remember you reading along on one of my TR's and enjoying your commentary, so I figured I'd tag along here!
Love your surprise--nice job pulling that off! WL is one of my favorite resorts on property (you may have been able to figure that out somehow), and your view is awesome.
Also, no surprise that a CM from the University of Delaware would be overly magical. Comes from the home state, I bet.![]()
Hey Cap'n O! Great to have you along! I have read several of your TR's and enjoyed them much! (Though I think I only made it to post on the last one.) subscribing
Thanks for joining in! We've been moving slow, but part of that is the time of year. This is when the heaviest work load hits for our dept. I've been working a TON of late nights & weekends. Things are slowing now, so I hope to pick up the pace here a bit. Thanks Rosie! I'll go see if I can find you a slide rule to use for your budget planning.Well written Sir Biscuit !! Being the ancient Relic that I am , I have no use ( translates to can't figure them Out) GPS and such, give me a map and a Trip Tik . Geez I am turning into my mother who had no use for these modern devices such as telephones and electric hand mixers![]()
Peep......
How goes it great one?!
