Birthdays

My DD's 8th birthday is on September 8th. We arrive in the parks on September 23. DH told her that this was for her birthday. I wanted to wait and go at the end of the month instead of around Labor Day. Can DD still get a birthday button? Or is there a time limit? Is 15 days later too late? We haven't ever been to the parks at birthday time so I don't know. Also, would she wear it only the first day or all days of the trip?

Of course she can.

We will be at WDW for DD's actual birthday in September which we will celebrate at 1900 Park Fare with the whole family. But the Monday before her and I are going to the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot without DS and DH and I noted her birthday when I made ADR's.

I always get a kick out of these questions. Folks, Disney doesn't care when your birthday is. They don't ask for any type of verification. You just walk in and say that you are celebrating a birthday and want a pin. You could be celebrating 11 months in advance and they wouldn't care. In fact, I've gone to Guest Relations several times to pick up buttons to save for people celebrating birthdays who order basket from me. They never question me.

If you want a birthday pin, just ask for one.

We are going to be at WDW for my DD B-Day in September. We will be there from the 24-30. Her actually B-Day is on the 29th. When I made our ADR's I told the CM that we are going for my DD B-Day and she told me that she made a note on all of our ADR's that it was her B-Day. She also told me to get a birthday button from all the parks when we go and to make sure we tell them at our resort when we check in. So, in answer to your question. Don't worry about it and let your DD have fun!
