Hello,

We are going out there on 29th Oct 09 for 2 weeks. My birthdays on halloween , and my dads is the 9th Nov .

Ive heard you can get something free if you prove its your bday?! Is this true? If so, what is it and where do I go for it!!!

If you go to one of the theme parks on your actual birthday,you get in for free.If you have already got your tickets,which most of us always do have,then you get to choose either fastpasses for your family for certain rides,or the most popular choice is the gift card worth aprox $75 for an adult.You must spend it on that day,and it can't be used for food,drink,snacks.Your passport or photo driving license is needed to prove who's birthday it is+before you enter the park there are will-call windows that you go to,to collect whatever you choose.x.

Yes exactly that (great is'nt it,our Dd7 will be 8 whilst we are there+she is getting the gift card-which is the price of a one day child ticket-not including tax-that's how the gift card works).
Yes you can spend on souvies,but the gift card must be used that day ,happy to help.x.

They've just changed the gift card so it doesn't expire

Nothing for weddings I'm afraid just Birthdays!

you can get a badge(button) from cutomer relations at any of the parks and downtown disney
If you have one on you will get spolt by cast members
At a meal you might get a small treat

Hi - I was there 4 my birthday in June & when they found out in California Grill they gave us one of the best tables and free desert with a candle & happy birthday on it

I celebrated my birthday in early January in WDW, and I got the giftcard. The parks and shops were starting to get 'Happy Birthday' merchandise in, so I would imagine that there will be quite a lot of Birthday related merchandise available now. I wonder if it will be the celebration year again next year. I celebrated my 21st in Disney last year and got a few free ice creams and deserts. The nicest thing though was just how wonderful and nice not just the cast members but other people treated me. I had a few American families come over and say happy birthday and give me fast passes they had that they no longer wanted to use. It completely changed Jonathan's opinion as he hadn't been to America before and had listened to all the completely ridiculous tales that are said about them.
