Birthdays in DLP

Does anybody know of any Birthday tips for DLP? Itwill be my Husbands 31st Birthday in March and I'm gonna get hima cake for after the meal in cafeMickey bt dies anyone know if we can get him a badge in City Hal like in WDW? Any other tips are gratefully recieved.

You can indeed get a free pin - something I didn't do when I was there for my 30th birthday as I didn't know about it at the time

DD is 12 a cpl of days after we get back so going to treat the trip as one big birthday party, could we still get the pin or will we have to provide proof of bd?

I've never heard of having to provide proof, but would think it is fine to celebrate a birthday earlier or later as the case may be

Adults can get pin as well

I didn't get a pin for my DS's birthday - but they gave him a beautiful poster with all of the characters around the castle on it and they arranged for us to ride in one of the floats at the Studios Park parade.

It's DS's birthday the day after we arrive and my 40th the day after we leave so I'll definately be visiting City Hall to see if there's any goodies up for grabs.

I've booked the Lucky Nugget for lunch on his birthday does anyone know if you can arrange to have a birthday cake there - I know you can only have them in specific restaurants but can't seem to find out which ones.
Also can you have a birthday cake in either the Rainforest Cafe or the Blue Lagoon - i'm hoping we can have my birthday meal in one of these two.

We've eaten at the Lucky Nugget twice and I have never seen anyone with a birthday cake there, I would say at a guess that they don't do them there because it is a set price buffet. You could always email DLRP here and ask them. Perhaps you could have a word with your CM when you are being seated? Even if they don't do cakes there, they might get all the characters to come to your table to sing Happy Birthday?

I've seen birthday cakes at Cafe Mickey and the Steakhouse but that's not much help is it, sorry!
