Hi, I too was wandering about a birthday celebration while in orlando. It is my mums 60th birthday while we are there, there is me and DH as well as my mum. I am staying at the cypress point in LBV in June. Anyone got any suggestions.

I know at 4 she's rather much younger, but we celebrated with brekkie at CR - Chip brought over a decorated cupcake & everyone sang happy birthday. He then helped her blow out the candle! This did ot cost extra, but I could have ordered a full cake 24 hours before (can't remember the exact cost). We were in Epcot. Whichever park you're in, don't forget your birthday butons. Everyone (CMs & other guests) make such a fuss. Have a great birthday, whatever you decide to do.

It's my b'day when we go in sept and i'm planning an illumination cruise, if i can snag one, they soung great and i've heard only good things about them. :hyper:

One year we picked up Birthday badges from MK a couple of days early, then went to AK on my son's bdy (his request) followed by dinner in the Rainforest Cafe (complete with candles on his dessert and Happy Bdy sung by the waiters!), and then 2 days later Winter/Summerland mini-golf followed by EPCOT Ice Cream Social (candles on his ice cream sundae and more singing-much to his embarrassment!) for my husband's bdy. We were staying at ASMovies and my son was woken up by an alarm call from Goofey. Also lots of CMs saw the Bdy badges and wished them Happy Bdy!
Another time we were at Disneyland Paris for my other son's Bdy. He got played to by the band at Waterloo Station, then balloons, a Mickey toy and a signed card were in our room at Sequoia Lodge when we arrived. I had rung to ask if anything could be arranged, but this was a complete surprise-and no charge either!

My son will turn 11 when we are in Orlando in October.

And he wants to spend his day with the Terminator, Spiderman, Hulk etc!!!!!!!!

Ive seen that WDW issue birthday badges, does anyone know if Universal do anything special/similar??
