Birthdays at WDW

We are due to take my nephew (along with 8 others!!) to WDW in February. During our stay he will turn 11.

I remember someone mentioning in a thread that you can get a special badge at MK if it's your birthday but am not sure what, if anything, this entitles you to.

Has anyone done this and is it worth scheduling a special trip to MK for his birthday?

Hi you can get a Birthday Pin from City Hall at MK.

Also, they'll do a Happy Birthday message from Goofy (?) on the phone.

It doesn't entitle you to anything except for recognition by the CM's.

Can't do a search at the mo, but DW did this last time we were in the world.
