Just wondering if anyone ever celebrated their birthday at the campground. I know if you are in the resorts they send you a card and a birthday call. Do they do anything special at your campsite. Thanks, Gina

I've had my birthday there several times and it has never been noted by Disney--just my family.

I have seen autographed character pictures with balloons deliverd from the front desk.. Have to request it ahead of time. No guarantee. I've seen them delivered on the wrong day and to the wrong site # (I wanted to, but I didn't keep it...)

Our long stay is during our DD's BD. We have done it 3 times and have never gotten anything from FW. They do call up all the BD people at the campfire every night and everyone sings happy BD to them. My DD did get an autographed picture of Chip and Dale at the campfire when the CM that was handling Chip heard it was her BD and she was disappointed because she only got Chip to sign her book because Dale was "late for his nap" and had to leave.

In October of 02 we checked into the campground on my daughters birthday. At check-in we told them that we were celebrating her birthday. We set up camp, then went over to Disney Marketplace to look around. Wen we returned that evening there were autographed picures from Chip n Dale as well as Mickey balloons on our picnic table. Be sure to tell them when you check in as well as any cast member you see. You never know what may happen.

I celebrated both my DD's birthdays and my parent's 40th wedding anniversary at FW this past August in the Cabins. After reading many different posts on the boards, I brought my own ballons that I purchased at a party store and asked the CM at check in if the ballons could be blown up and delivered to our Cabin (she said no problem). We were in the cabin for less than an hour and a CM dropped the balloons off to my DDs and my parents. It was a wonderfull surprise for all of them. By purchasing the ballons yourself, you can pick out your child's favorite Disney character(s)-I picked the 3 princesses and you will be sure you will have balloons to surprise them with.
