I read on this site about a Birthday -Day Cruise from the Yacht and Beach Club. It indicated that the cruise for a 8 person Pontoon was $150 +tax. I called to reserve and I was told they only do 12 person boats and it is $250 + tax. My family consists of four people - sems like a waste of money for 4 people on a 12 man boat.

Does anyone know if the 8 person boats are still available ?

If not, is anybody else going to be there the week of Dec 21 -27 and having a Birthday and would like to go in with us ?
Or finall, any other ideas to celebrate a 5 year olds b-day (excluding dinners) ?

Try looking into the firework cruises. We had a great time! We opted for to add the decorations, cake and sodas; and it came to $220 plus tip for our Captain.

We took the MK cruise that left from the Poly. It was very nice. The cake was fabulous even the next day as we had plenty left over.

Since the balloons got away during the cruise, Amy, our captain, delivered more for our daughter the next at the CBR where we were staying!

If cost is an issue and the boat can hold more people than your small party of four let people know you are willing to share. I am sure you will get takers and you can split the cost.

Thanks to a kind and generous woman that we met here on the boards; we were able to enjoy the experience. Only sorry that we didn't have the opportunity to share it together with her.

Turtle Head - post your extra room over on the Theme Park Board - under Illuminations Cruises. People post their vacancies and "wishes" over there.
We were able to share a boat for MK fireworks with someone who posted, and it was great!
