Day 1: may 25th
We planned to drive down and stay in Atlanta but the wife got off early so we left around 10 am. As we drove past Atlanta at 5pm we decided to keep going. At that point we made a decision to try and make it to Orlando in the same day. We called the magic number to Lowes at 8pm and made reservations for cabana bay. We weren't originally going to stay at an onsite resort but early entry won us over for the extra $50. Pulled in at 10:15 and checked in without a problem except our annual passes couldn't be printed at the kiosk.
Day 2:
Learned the wife needs more times then she thinks to get ready. Got to the shuttle at 7:30, got our annual passes sorted, and in the park heading for wwohp at 8 where we promptly say in line for an hour. Almost no wait for the dragon coaster. Blue dragon was a nice ride. We then headed to the other park as shorter lines were calling our names.
On the way we stopped by and picked up my birthday button. We headed towards mummy but saw shrek times were low. Upon trying to get in line I was moved to the express pass line and wished a happy birthday. We then moved on to mummy and spent more time walking through the building then waiting in line. From there I was directed to transformers as we haven't been on it before. From there we did saimpsons then headed out. On the way out the wife stopped to get water and I was offered a free icee. Total for the birthday button for the day was an express pass line jump, 15 happy birthdays, and a free icee.
