Hi All!

Super excited to be visiting both parks this Sunday for my bday! My friend who works at Disney is getting us in for free so I'm stoked!

The only thing is, she can't get us in until 1:00pm. I heard that the park has a 10/10 crowd scale online this Sunday. Here's the thing though. I went for my birthday on Easter Sunday last year and people said it would be packed and it wasn't. Most we waited was 60 min for only a couple rides (Space Mountain and Splash Mountain). Should I be concerned for this Sunday? I mean we are a bit behind the 8-ball since we're getting there at 1. The parks are open until 9 (DCA) and 11 (DL) respectively. Will we only get on a couple rides? I don't really care about the fireworks or shows since I've seen them before. Specifically, I want to do the following:

Indiana Jones
Star Tours
Splash Mountain
Space Mountain
Pirates
Matterhorn
RSR
Tower of Terror
Soarin
TSMM
California Screamin
Grizzly Rapids (if its warm)

Any advice would be helpful!

I remember reading that Easter Sunday itself wasn't that bad last year, but the surrounding weekends were fairly busy. I would go expecting crowds so that way, you can be pleasantly surprised if it turns out the parks aren't that busy or prepared in case they are. I think they'll be likely out of RSR and Space Mtn FPs by 1:00 pm. I would try to use FP and SRLs whenever possible.

It is worth noting that DCA is expected to be fairly crowded this weekend because it's the first weekend of the Food & Wine Festival. This is the first time DCA is doing the F&W Festival since 2010 and many of the offerings are only available on the weekends (Fri to Sun). I don't know if this will translate to markedly higher attraction wait times or not, but I do think it'll mean a fairly good number of people in the park.

My suggestion - single rider line for as much as you can and then try to get fast passes for the ones that don't have it - such as Space, Star Tours and ToT - and keep in mind there is no getting around a line at TSMM coming that late in the day as it does not have FP. If you are not going to watch WOC then that might be a good time to do that one.

I'd just also work out a plan - where to start - what FPs to pull and keep on top of those passes, making sure you pull another as soon as that window opens!

I would prepare for it to be busy - it's still Spring Break!
