I have been reading the boards for awhile but I'm still kind of confused. I am taking my ds and his cousin in early Dec. My son will turn 9 while we're there and his cousin turns 10 later in December. Do I pick another day of our trip to use as his cousins birthday? It also seems that I read a lot of reports that sound like they notify every ps, hotel, restaurant etc that they're celebrating a birthday or anniversary. I would hate for the one ps we have on his birthday to be overlooked but I'm also not sure I want the entire 5 days to be the boys birthday. Any suggestions?

I would celebrate your son's birthday on that day, then select another day during your trip to celebrate the cousin's birthday. If you want something special done by the resort, restaurant, etc., it's a good idea to call ahead and make arrangements in advance. That way you won't be disappointed if they don't do something special.
