Birthday Pin Question

We are staying at the Swan hotel for our vacation in October. We are taking DS for his 4th birthday. Our first day, we weren't planning to go into the parks, but were planning to go to Downtown Disney. Is there anyplace on the Boardwalk or in Downtown Disney where DS can get his birthday pin? Or do we have to wait to get it at the parks?? We're taking him that night to Chef Mickey's for dinner and would really like it if he had his pin already.

Any suggestions would be great!!

Sometimes the Disney Resort hotels can get them, why not ring the Contemporary and explain your situation, you may be able to get one from Check in desk before you go into Chef Mickeys.

I would think you could get the pin at Guest Services in DTD.

Pretty sure they can give that to you at any of the disney resorts.

My Dsis got mine for my 40th Bday at Guest Relations at the Contemporary. We were only there for bfast with Mickey before going on the Disney Cruise line in Jan of this year. Beach Club and Boardwalk have them too.

Make sure he wears it all the time you are there even if not the actual bday. They may be some surprises for him.

Can you get these before your birthday? My friend has his birthday the day after we leave, but I was wondering if we could get one for him, it's his first trip to WDW

We are staying off site, does that make a difference?
