We'll be in WDW in January 2011. My oldest daughter's birthday is the 23 or January. I want to surprise her some way but I'm not sure. She'll be turning 22. My youngest turned 16 in June and we were at a Phillies game and they sang happy birthday and gave her a hat. I want to do something special for my oldest this year. Any ideas??? Thanks!! :confused3

You could make a reservation at one of the resturants ( her favorite food ) and order her a disney cake. A little personal one. I am not sure of the link for it but someone on these boards could tell you. Make her feel like a special princess. Maybe there are some other disney ideas that resturant could tell you about as well. Any way enjoy your trip and Happy Birthday to your daughter. Hope this is one idea of many you may get. Jo

We took an Illuminations Celebration Cruise on my DD's b-day one year. The boat was decorated with balloons, banner, etc. I had also pre-ordered a b-day cake which was delivered right to the boat as we arrived.

As we were docked in Epcot, just prior to Illuminations starting, the crew of two began singing "Happy b-day" to DD. The folks in the boat parked next to us joined in, and when we were finished, one of the cast members cut & served the cake. We had plenty (cake was HUGE) & shared it with the family on the next boat. What a fantastic evening! :cake:

Not sure what your DD's personality is but if she likes a mature celebration, there is always the spa, or a fancier dinner with a preordered cake or even afternoon tea at GF. If isn't shy in anyway, you could just have something small and special at each of the parks. For example in MK have the barbershop quartet sing HB to her on Main Street, then have dinner at the castle. Let them know when you make ADR's you are celebrating her birthday. Also, if you time it right, you maybe could get her to be in the parade, or open a park etc. I think 1900 park faire with the step sisters would be a fun time to get characters to sing Happy Birthday.

What do you mean if you time it right?
