Birthday ideas for 12 year old?

Our daughter will be celebrating her 12th birthday while we are in US.
Are there any good ideas as to what we should do that day?
Is any restraunt better than others for recognizing birthday?
I have never been to US so I am not familiar with what they offer.
We will be staying onsite at RPR.

Our daughter will also be turning 12 on oct. 12 while we are at RPR.

I have let the hotel know this, they have made a note of it on our reservation. ( Not sure what if anything they will do, but it is worth a try )

As a surprise we are taking her to Mickeys not so scarry halloween on her actually B-Day. ( she is to scarred for HHN )

I also plan on mailing down a package ahead with a few small gifts inside.

Last but not least I plan on putting a small sign in the early AM on our door, ( again not sure if this is allowed I will find out )

And she of course will be wearing a B-Day button,
