We are thinking of celebrating our son's 3rd bday at WDW. He is born on 10/28 but we have vacations scheduled 10/15 to 10/22.

Any suggestions on how to celebrate? We are thinking of doing MNSSHP. He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Eisntein, Agent Oso and warehouse mouse. We are also thinking of doing both Water Parks since we didnt do that last year.

Something simple yet fun would to to rent a boat (canoe, kayak, paddle, etc..) and take him out of a tour of your resort. My nephews love this :)

maybe breakfast/lunch at hollywood and vine? get to meet oso and handy manny (and two others, I think june and leo from little E.) seems like that is right up his alley. don't forget to get him a birthday pin! I know my little one loves getting attention, and those pins get attention.

p.s. my daughter's b-day is 3/3 but we are not going until june. it doesn't matter, we will still be celebrating her birthday as this trip is partly her gift.

I am sure a character meal would be a big hit. Mention that is is his birthday for a special treat! Also, get him a birthday button at city hall. He will get acknowledged by cast members!
I went a week before my birthday a few years ago and it was a lot of fun celebrating my birthday week there!

While making ADRs be sure to mention that you are celebrating a birthday. I believe you can chose that as an option if you're reserving online. Have them make a note in your room reservation as well. And, as a PP mentioned, be sure to pick up a Birthday Pin when you check in to your hotel or at guest services in the parks. I believe you can also have the CM at your hotel arrange for a phone call from Mickey wishing him Happy Birthday.

You could also pack some supplies and conveniently need to go back to the room so that you can put up some decorations.

We are planning on celebrating DS7's birthday while we are there in May. His birthday will be a week later but he already knows we will not be having a party at home with his friends because we want to celebrate big at Disney. I saw the really cool birthday celebration that Disneyflorist.com will do. They actually decorate the room while you're out and leave huge Disney colored boxes with prizes in them. It's REALLY expensive though! My travel agent suggested I buy prizes ahead of time and have it mailed to the resort via FEDEX ground to save money. We are still trying to decide what to do. I just love the boxes that the stuff comes in and the fact that they do it all for me and then when I think of what I would spend at home for a party and present, I would be pretty close. We are also thinking about one of the Pirate adventures for him and his nephew to go on. Of course, we will get the birthday button, birthday phone call and will note on our dining reservations. We are so excited! Good luck with your birthday celebration!:yay:

I agree, take him to breakfast at Hollywood and Vine at DHS! We took our little one there in July and he LOVED it. It was one of our best character interactions of the trip. The kids get to go up and sing and dance with the characters as well. We all had fun! And just a tip: Try and get a reservation for as early as you can! We were there around 8:15, and the park didn't open until 9. There was hardly anyone eating at that time, so the characters really took their time at each table. It was nice.

We got a birthday cake for our youngest sons 1st birthday. I attached the picture link to give you an idea of what they can do.

Thank you all for your recommendations BUT we will not be going in Oct because DH vacation request was denied. We have to decide if we will go the 1st week in July or last week of December. Airfare might be the deal breaker as I don't want to pay double than July or Oct fare which is about $800 for all 3 of us.

We like July because even though it's hot, we know we can go to the pool. We like Dec because MVMCP and all other celebrations - oct would have been the best!

Thanks again for all your help!
