Birthday for Dad

We will be celebrating my husband's 40th birthday while we are at Disney in December with the kids (7 and 11). Any ideas for something special for him besides buying the little cakes advertised on the website? We want to make sure he gets lots of attention.

Make sure you stop by guest services to get him a birthday button. We did this for my dad last year and he was surprised how many people would walk by and say happy birthday. Several people stopped him to ask where he got the button.

If you have any ADRs make sure you have his birthday noted on the reservation. Sometimes they give a free birthday dessert, and I have heard of tables being decorated with Mickey confetti.

Thanks! I had heard about getting the button, but I didn't think about telling them when making dinner reservations. I will definitely do that once he decides where he wants to go.

If he's a race car fan (or would just like the experience) you can do the Richard Petty Racing Experience. They ride around a real race track going 145 MPH with a professional driver. I think it's about $100.
