Ok so has anyone acutally opted for the B-day fastpass? I am going on my b-day with my DW, DD8, DD6, DD4, and DD2. We already have tix, so the other option is the giftcard. While that is nice I would be interested in the fast pass if it can get me on rides like TOY STORY, Pirates, buzz, HM, and so on. I have seen some details that statesome of the rides included.

Magic Kingdom
Donald: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain
Daisy: Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Jungle Cruise, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Stitch's Great Escape!

But how does it work? Can i use it on all the rides in a group? I have read something about getting either donald OR daisy. Can i pick? Does it work for rides in DCA? Anyone who knows more or has DONE it i would appricate any info. :cool1:

My DD10 is trying to decide on this or the card.

I told her to opt on the card. We'll figure out how to get her on the rides she really wants to do with "the plan."

Would love to hear if anyone has used the FastPass option though.

From what I've heard, you only get a few fastpasses and the amount depends on how busy it is that day. If it is busy you get less FPs. I can't remember the exact number of passes but I believe it was 2-5 (depending on crowds). You get 5 (or was it 6?) sets of passes so your whole group can use them but the consensus here is that they really aren't worth it.

Also, OP, your list seems to be the list for MK at WDW, not DLR. Are you going to Disneyland or WDW? Just want to make sure you're posting on the right thread.

From Disney
+The number of birthday FASTPASS exchange cards issued per day is limited and may not be available after 11am. Valid Theme Park admission required. FASTPASS benefit for birthday celebrant and up to 5 members of his/her party.
I have read various versions of how this works. Basically the celebrant and up to 5 friend can use this card to get 2 - 4 FP from each group. The park admission is not use so you can use your admission to get even more FP.

A Special Birthday FASTPASS® ticket which provides four FASTPASS® entitlements to select attractions for every person in the birthday party (maximum of 6 guests per party). Availability of this option is not guaranteed after 11am.
That means you get two choices from each group for a total of 4 FP per person up to 6 people. Is it worth $69 to get them 4 extra FP, that is up to you.

Your list is for WDW's Magik Kingdom

Donald attractions are the more popular rides such as Splash Mountain, California Screamin’, Tower of Terror, Soarin' Over California, and Space Mountain. Daisy attractions are for the less busy rides like Autopia, Big Thunder Mountain, Big River Run, Mulholland Madness, and Buzz Lightyear.

Thanks for all the info! We are going to DL not WDW. I saw the list late at night and didnt see that it was WDW, it was getting late, I was getting sleepy. :surfweb:

Looks like most of the rides wont be ones we will go on what with the 4 DD ages. If anyone has any further info please post. Like if TSMM get added to the list!!

TSMM at DLR does not have any type of FP so you're out of luck there.

With a herd of kids you could use a rider or child swap. You go up to the greeter on rides with a height limit. Tell them you want to do a child swap and they will give you a piece of paper to return to them. The paper or greeter will tell you where to take the piece of paper. All of the party rides except the small kids and the babysitter. When the party gets off then the babysitter and one person rides even if that companion has ridden 20 times that day. Sometimes they let you take 2 people.

The list varies as they change things so check to see what rides have FP on the days you are going and assume that those will be the only rides you can choose from. Also try single rider lines as they are fast and the wife can go ride dumbo.
