Birthday dinner- Where? and Why?

Hello all-
I just booked a vaca for late Sept as a birf'day present to me.

The day after we get there will be my birf'day... so the question is.. where shall I celebrate my 52nd birf'day? We will not have any children with us and we are a party of two. Am considering trying to get CRT but we know how that goes..

If it was your birf'day dinner... where would you eat and why?

I am actually wondering the same think, as I will be celebrating my b-day while there too...I am considering Jiko...I posted a ? about signature rest. to get opinions on those, but I keep seeming to come back to Jiko...We'd never go there if we had to pay OOP...so I'm thinking maybe we should splurge and use 2 credits for my b-day!

In January, we celebrated my DH's 46th birthday in the CG wine room. It was spectacular and I highly recommend it. The wine room is quiet and intimate, and the view incredible. The food and service fabulous as well.

For my 21st birthday, I ate @ California Grill!! We had tried to get reservations during wishes ... but couldn't get any until later... It was still really awesome. They gave us a window seat because it was my birthday, and we watched the electrical water pageant. The food was great, the service was wonderful, and the view was awe inspiring.

To celebrate my 35th birthday this year, I decided on Yachtsmen Steakhouse. The menu appeals to me and it's near our hotel and it will be easy if we decide to go to Jellyrolls afterwards.

I also booked Cape May for breakfast because I want more of a Disney celebration in the morning and then a grown up celebration in the evening.

If you want CRT - go for it! They serve all 3 meals so if you are booking at 90 days out, I am sure you'll be able to get a meal there on your birthday.
