Birthday Dinner Suggestions?

Hey, all. Hoping to do some brain-picking on suggestions for an adult birthday dinner. Our 180 window opens in five weeks, and I can't decide what the heck to book.

Background - we're both 40-something women, no kids, so kid friendliness isn't an issue - actually, less kid friendly is better. We're both fairly open to anything, and have. enjoyed meals at Citricos, Jiko, Le Cellier, and lucked into a short notice V&A reservation for my birthday last year. Finances have changed unfortunately, making that an impossibility for this trip, as is the chef's table experience at Citricos. Monsieur Paul isn't out of reach, but there's nothing my wife feels like she's drawn to on the menu. The only place we've tried and been unimpressed with a small far as signature dining spots has been Narcoossee's - bad food, worse service, zero interest in tying again.

The only places beside Narcoossee's I'd take off the table are Morimito's restaurants (been at others elsewhere, not a fan) and Art Smith's place (we live in the south and can get southern food anytime).

Doesn't have to be "signature", just delicious food and great atmosphere.

We've really enjoyed an evening dinner at Raglan Road in the past. If you can get a table round show time it's very lively ( and yes, a bit noisy so if romantic is the feel you are going for, I'd avoid ). The food has been very good each time we have been.

Another thought is if you like seafood - Todd English's Blue Zoo at the Dolphin. Good food and interesting décor. Close to Boardwalk for after dinner activities.

Have you considered California Grill? The food is very good and the view is spectacular.

We really enjoy Artist Point at WL. The resort is so beautiful and the restaurant is quite subdued. I've never seen a lot of children in there (except my own, LOL!)

I agree with the PP. If you aren't on the dining plan, bluezoo at the Dolphin is fantastic (they don't take DDP). The food and service are outstanding and walking around the Boardwalk at night is really fun.

I agree with you on Narcoosee's - one of our worst WDW meals ever - cold food and terrible service.

A second vote for CG. Best meal ever. It is especially nice if you are able to Time your ADR to view the fire works.

Fewer children, great food.

Disney Springs has plenty of places too. Boathouse is 'the' place right now. Paddlefish may be a bit more quiet.

I try to be at WDW on my birthday when we go! Jiko is the place I love. They don't do much, but I feel special anyhow.
