Birthday dinner recommendations

I have a ADR at the Rainforest Cafe DTD for my husband's birthday dinner on March 6th but now I'm having second thoughts. We've been to their Niagara Falls location before so perhaps we should try something new.

We are a party of 6 including our daughters who are 6 and 4. Looking for something in the same price range with fun ambiance...we already have ADR for CRT, Ohana, Tuskers and California Grill.

For 'fun' atmosphere - Sci-Fi in DHS. Biergarten in Epcot. 1900 PF dinner - yes it's Cindy and her Prince, but it's also Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters: the closest thing WDW has to a Villains dinner. Great guest interactions.

Slightly different - have dinner at Boatwrights at POR, then in the same building catch Bob Jackson's (FREE!) show in the River Roost lounge. DH can have an adult beverage but the atmosphere is very family-friendly. Bob plays the piano, sings, and takes audience participation to the next level. He will have DH and both DDs in a conga line before you know it! Show starts at 8:30 pm W/Th/F/Sat; not sure about Sundays.

****ETA just saw 3/6/12 is a Tuesday. Still, if it appeals to DH maybe he'd take a rain check?

If you want something not in the parks I would try Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL or maybe Ragland Road at DTD it has been getting good reviews.
