We are going to Disney next week to celebrate my DW's 40th birthday. We will be at Ohana's one night for dinner, our first time at Ohanas, and I was wondering about a birthday cake for our family to celebrate.

How do I go about getting a cake for dinner?
Do I order it when we get there?
Can I order it ahead of time and have it served to us at dinner?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Here you go. You would want to call in advance (usually they ask for 24 hours).

Ohana's Birthday or special-occasion cakes can be ordered by calling (407) 824-2165.

I was going to do that for my DH's birthday last October, but the price of the cake was rather high and it's a full sized cake, no less. Decided we didn't need to do that. What I had done when I made ressies was to make sure they notated it was his birthday and then prior to going, called again and reiterated it was his birthday-all I wanted was a nice quiet table.
Ended up that he got a dessert (complimentary) with a sparkler in it.

Thank you CDSTapisRouge. I called this morning and they said I could get a 6" cake which will be fine since we would probably eat desert as well. The CM said I can order it right at the podium as we get there.
