birthday cruise

we did epcots birthday cruise last time and today when I called she said there was one for the Disney Wishes. Has anyone done this? How does it compare? We LOVED the last one and if it's as cool we will do it again

We've done both, and although they are both great in their own right, I truly preferred the "Wishes" one. The cruise itself around Bay lake was more interesting than the one around the EPCOT area ... IMO. The advantage to the EPCOT deal is that the fireworks themselves are closer than with Wishes. That being said, I still preferred Wishes, as I think it is one of the best shows they have ever come up with.

that is SO what I wanted to hear thank you! Since we thought epcot was awesome I was hoping wishes would be "good enough" LOL

I just called for the wishes cruise, and they said only 2 boats have the music piped in. I`m thinking for 220.00 for 8 people it should be piped into all boats. I didn`t book it, now I`m thinking why didn`t I....................someone please ........a response of who has done wishes cruise without the music in the boat, was it good or not worth it?

Hi - We took the Wishes cruise last year ... there was no piped in music and we LOVED the cruise. Our driver was great and the fireworlks were spectacular I'd definately do it again!

I wonder if we can request Mike who was our epcot pilot LOL the lady said that most people said it was worth it to do the music.

A few years ago I surprised DW with a B'Day cruise for Tapestry of Dreams(couldn't get it for Illnuminations) and all I got was an sharp elbow in the ribs. Must have been al those black balloons with that darn number on them.
