Birthday Celebration Question

Hi everyone! We will be at WDW in a little over 2 weeks for our youngest one's 1st birthday. We have reservations at Crystal Palace for Breakfast and Be Our Guest for dinner on her actual birthday. I know I can order a cake because I've done that in the past but that might be a bit weird to do in the morning. I know some restaurants have cards and others will bring out a cupcake do I need to add anything to our reservation to let them know it's her birthday or do I just tell them when we go to check in for our meal??
