Birthday Celebration Ideas

Hello!
I have been absent from DISBoards for about a year now; however, I just booked a trip for September so I am BACK!! Since I have been M.I.A., I'm not sure what topics have been covered and to what extent, so if this question has been answered, I would love it if I could be re-directed to the right thread.

ANYWAY, I just confirmed flights to WDW from Sep 11-16. I am traveling with my boyfriend, whose birthday is Sep 15, the last full day of our trip. We are planning on going to MK that day. He knows about the reservations so the trip itself won't be a surprise, BUT I would love to sprinkle in some birthday surprises throughout the trip while we're there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have a good idea for you. If you are going to MK that day, book a reservation at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical review. It is at the Wilderness resort campground. Its a fantastic show, all you can eat food and drink. Its really funny and usually they go around asking whos birthday it is and sing to them.

You can take a boat right from MK to the resort and you walk off and the dining hall is right there. After the show they have buses to take you back to your resort.

I highly recommend it.

Its really awesome. I think you might get a discount if your DVC member have the Chase Visa card. Not 100% on that though.

I've been going to the World to celebrate my birthday for the past couple years and will be doing so this year so I knew I had to chime in.

Be sure to pick up a birthday button for him at City Hall in Magic Kingdom or Guest Relations in Epcot, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. He can wear it the whole trip and he'll get birthday wishes and maybe a little pixie dust
