Has anyone had a birthday celebration at WCC? We are thinking of celebrating my DD's 4th birthday there and I wondered what that was like, given the... interactive... nature of the dining experience. As she will only be 4, I don't want to overwhelm her, but by the same token, it is the only night that all 8 people we are traveling with will actually be dining in the same place. I will be preordering a cake, if that makes any difference...

Thanks!

I had my DD birthday there when she turned 3 last november. Its very loud and feels very disorganized. They have fun things for the kids to do but at 3 I had to do it with her. She was to little. The food is good but with a large group if you order the skilits, its hard to get at the food. Also becuase its so loud its hard to talk to the person on the other side of the table. The waiter did make me sing happy on the mic to my daughter, that was fun. If i had to do it all over again I would not go to WCC for her birthday

Thanks! That is kind of what I was worried about-- that she will still be too little and will be frightened/overwhelmed by it. We currently have ADR's at Akershus, CRT, Coral Reef, and CA Grill (in addition to WCC). Would any of those be a better choice, or someplace else altogether? What would you recommend instead? :flower3:

My DD had a Birthday at WC but she was much older..it was fun.

If I was going to WDW and she was 4, she would celebrate it like a princess at CRT....
why don't you start a new thread to see if anyone has experienced that...:)

Thanks! I was thinking CRT.... but that is a breakfast reservation and even though it is her birthday, it makes my mommy-alarm go into hyperdrive to think of giving her cake at breakfast.... lol! But, we do have lunch at Akershus with the princesses, so perhaps that would be a good alternative. :) And I will go start a thread on that one... :goodvibes

It is fun to celebrate at the Coral Reef also. I am not sure if they will have a diver available with a sign or not, but they also can do personalized menus and cakes! But then again CRT and cake for breakfast! Yum!!!:lmao:
