I can't remember if it was La Cantina or Chuck Wagon, but one of them had the Birthday cakes advertised in their menu at €29.99, I always thought they were €25? Maybe they've increased?

I think they went up - though we did laugh at the family of 8 who had a cake in thexChuck Wagon....only to leave half of it because they couldn't eat it. We were very happy with the cast off though haha! I mean dessert is included and it's ot exactly cheap :-/

I need to get more buffet savvy, I'm always too full to enjoy the desserts! Next time I'm having desserts for starters and working backwards through the courses!

Oh I like your style! Have to admit, I wanted to do this in the Plaza Guards - ate there for the first time and fell in love with the lemon meringue pie, was better than the Chuck Wagon, but I think it's the same one lol!

As for birthday cake though, they are more suited to somewhere other that a buffet, but I can say they are very nice. Huge, but not worth that amount of bang!

If it helps a Birthday cake in Inventions on Monday was €26

That's another place that while it might be nice, what a waste of money when you have so many desserts on offer!

But what's a Birthday without a Birthday cake?!? We only had a small slice each (2 of us) but it certainly wasn't a waste of money as we asked for the box and took it with us to eat over the next few days instead of buying snacks in the park!
