My mom and I will be staying at RPR for my birthday, going to IOA and Studios, and eating at Tchouo Chop and Margaritaville. Where can we order a custom cake? Or if not custom, at least some type of birthday cake.

You can! They are beautiful and delicious. Contact the concierge and they will go over your options. You can have it served in a restaurant or in your room. We have ordered b-day cakes 3 times now - they are outstanding. They ranged in price depending on size. My favorite was the one RPR made - chocolate covered strawberries and other delicious fruits on top of the cake. Vanilla with raspberry jam filling covered in fresh whipped cream.

That sounds amazing! How far in advance do I have to order?

I am so glad you brought the birthday cake up. My family is planning a trip to USF/IOA in December and we will be arriving on my DD birthday. She will be 17 and we would love to have a cake made for her on her birthday. We will be staying at RPR and was wondering what kind of prices the cakes were. We are working out our budget and plan for the trip and would like to include the cake price in the plan.

I am the kind of person that likes to know in advance and avoid sticker shock if at all possible.

Thanks ahead of time.

407-503-3430 Order directly

407-503-3200 Main hotel number can direct your call.

You really have to call to get a price based on your specifics.

We paid $75.00 for the last cake. It was large and covered in fruit. 4 of us didn't dent it.

If you need a cheaper option, I found Vanilla Bean cupcakes at IOA. I don't remember the name of the shop, but it was a candy shop in Port of Entry, between the bakery and the park exit, on the opposite side from Islands of Adventure Trading Company (the big gift shop). I didn't get into the bakery, so I don't know if they had them. I didn't get to Universal Studios, so I don't know if they have them either.

They took the cupcake out of the display case and put it in a great plastic container which had little things inside that made the cupcake stand upright so it didn't get squished when I took it back to the hotel.
