My niece is celebrating her 9th birthday at the Rain forest café . There will be 17 of us. They don't do a Disney cake, they do a chocolate lava cake. She would like, if possible, a white Mickey Mouse cake or ice cream cake. Anyone have any ideas where I could get one? We leave Wednesday morning.Thanks in advance.

If you are staying at any of the resort hotels, you can call disney vacation planning and talk with them to see what is available. I think some of the policies have changed since we ordered birthday cakes 2 years ago.... But when we ordered, they were very accommodating.

I would recommend that you try to speak to the same person each time....I have never had any problems and I use them 2 - 3 times a year. But, I have read posts that things sometimes can fall between the cracks.

Oh, one more thing....they will call you back, if you like, since it is a long distance number. Also, when they are very busy the machine will pick up and you simply leave your name and number and they will get back to you.

Well, we are taking a different tack. Getting the cake from Von's today and driving up from San Diego with it. We will have cake in the hotel room. It will be easier all around. Thanks for your help.
