Birthday Cake Question

Hi all!

I have been reading a lot here about custom birthday cakes being served at restaurants, and I'm wondering what the deal is. We'll be celebrating my MIL's birthday on our trip, and I'm considering ordering a cake. How do I go about it? Do all the restaurants offer it, or just some? Any idea of how much it might cost?

You can order just about anything, for a price!

when we made our ADR we asked about the cake, they gave us a number to call and they gave us a list of options. it cost about $25 and served 9 of us and was brought out right after dinner. You do have to call a day or so ahead of time and they took my credit card info just in case we canceled. Dont rely on them having candles either. we lucked out by bringing our own special ones and wound up giving the extras to the young couple next to us celebrating their daughters first b-day because Chef Mickey's did not have any. Hope this helps

There is a thread all strictly dedicated to birthday cake doings. It gives you the telephone numbers and if you flip through you will see some great pics of some of the magic Disney can make for a birthday enjoy just don't look at this on an empty stomach!
