Birthday Buttons at DLR?

Does DLR have birthday buttons for those celebrating? I recall WDW gives them out, but don't know about DLR. We are going for DW's birthday in January. Thanks.

They sure do. Any CM will have them when you go and ask them for one.

Yes, I just got one a few weeks ago. I was going to get it at City Hall but the line was longer than i wanted to wait so I just went into the Emporium and asked the CM there who promptly whipped out a box of various buttons and gave me a b-day one and she gave DS a 1st visit one. She also gave DS one with the Incredibles on it as a bonus. It was actually a family reunion one but she just gave it to him to be nice.

Yup, you can get them at City Hall, at various shops or while dining. They have in DCA as well.

My moms birthday was this past Saturday. So we went in City Hall and got the Bday button from there. Also the CM asked my mom to pick up the phone that was in front of her. It was Goofy singing happy birthday and so my mom really liked that.

I would suggest if there isnt a big line in City Hall, to get the button from there.

I had to pay the blackout fee on my pass when I went, so I asked for one at the ticket counter.

She gave me one and even made one (without being asked!) for DB - who tried to politely turn it down - but took it anyway (Though he didn't wear it, because it wasn't his birthday).

They also have them at the wait board by the hub!

my fiancee's uncle used to work at DLR and back when they did b-day stickers he would give us a stack of them. we still have them some where. we used to go with a group of friends quite often and would give a b-day sticker to who ever had their b-day the closest to the day we went. only once have we received a front of the line pass. that was pretty cool.



when i went a few weeks ago though, she got me a b-day button. some CM's looked at me like i had 3 eyes or something. some said happy b-day but i think i got more happy b-days from the goths there for bat days. which is cool with me.

I just got back last night from DLR. And my Bithday was on the 18th. My Dh got me a Birthday Button at the front desk of our hotel.

Nice and easy, I must say.

That's weird that the CMs looked at you funny. I had a b-day button a few weeks ago too and I was surprised how many CMs wished me a happy birthday. Often I didnt' even realize someone was talking to me until they said my name at the end. It almost seemed like they had all been given a pep-talk about making sure they wished guests happy birthday. But DH remembers when he had his b-day sticker, about 5-6 years ago, that not many people wished him a happy b-day. Strange.

I was wished happy birthday by *every* CM that was close enough to tell me so. At some point, the strap on my tank top broke, and I used the button to hold it together in the back - and even got told happy birthday by people behind me!

Also, quite a few complete strangers (not CMs) also said it.
