My 41st birthday is March 21. I'll be in Disney March 25-30. Three questions:
1. Is 41 too old for a birthday button? LOL!
2. Would I be eligible for a button even though my birthday is the Monday before we arrive on Friday?
3. What do you get if wearing one?

I went to WDW for my 40th birthday last year, we arrived the day after my birthday but it was still my birthday trip despite my husband's complaints that it wasn't actually my birthday. I wore a button and got lots of well wishes and a cupcake pop thingy from the bakery.

I got a free dessert from the sea when I had lunch there you never know what you will get when wearing one but I would not expect anything but happy birthday that why if you do not get something extra you will not be disappointed

I won't expect much. I may not even wear one, but I thought I'd ask about them.
And I just realized I'm turning 42, not 41!! Senility is setting in early!

We celebrated 4 Birthdays while we were there in Feb/March of this year- ages 4, 5, 33, and 55. They all wore buttons and were all told Happy Birthday and recieved Birthday Cupcakes at all meals (including breakfast). The 4 and 5 year olds also got cards signed by all characters at the character meals we went to on their birthdays.

You are never too old for a birthday button! My birthday is in December but I always go to Disney a month before in Nov and that is when I celebrate my birthday- this years trip is my 30th bday gift to myself! It does not have to be your actual birthday to get a button. I can never go to disney in Dec with Christmas being so close, so going a month before works out perfect for me.

I wear one any time I there for my birthday and I'm closer to 60 than 50. Loads of birthday wishes, sometimes an offer for a free dessert but I don't eat a lot of sweets so those were turned down.

Nope! Never too old to wear one! Although my birthday is towards the end of December, I'm still going to grab one for my 33rd when we're there mid-December. If there's any place you are never too old to have fun and (at least somewhat) act like a kid - it's Walt Disney World. Hope you have a blast!

All they want to know is if you are celebrating the birthday while there. Will you be? Then you're eligible.

42, eh? That's the meaning of the universe year! (or something like that)

I'm at WDW now celebrating my 45th bday. I did tell them it was my bday trip when I made my reservation so I received a pin at check in. I have not walked around with it but when I do a ride with a FP it says my name and ""birthday trip" so the CM know but most don't pay attention to the screen. When we came back from the park today there was a card and a n autographed picture of Mickey wishing me a happy birthday. It was a nice surprise!

You can get any pins at the ticket booths at every park. Just ask for the pin you want and you'll get it. The CM will write your name on it for you

We're planning on celebrating our 30th anniversary and DH's 60th birthday, but the time we can travel bears no connection to either of those dates. I'm glad to see that won't matter.

I know Guest relations in MK had a cart outside one year with all the pins.
But I had forgot my anniversary pin in the room so went to Guest relations at I think EPcot.
And usually they have them at the check in desk of the resort.

We went for our Anniversary the past two years. The first year we wore our pin a couple days then decided to not wear it one day and DH and I missed all the friendly wishes. So we wore it the rest of the trip and then again last year.
First year we got an extra a lot. Really didn't eat the extra dessert cupcakes because we were on dining plan and already had dessert but it was a nice gesture.
Last year not a lot of extra and even not as many well wishes but we did get the anniversary cupcake at Crystal Palace.
Wear the pin and celebrate that you have had another birthday. There are a lot of people hoping to see another one.
Wishing you pixie dust. pixiedust:

We are just back from our 20th wedding anniv trip (though not on our actual anniv date). We wore our pins every day, and received tons of well wishes, some even from just elementary age children. So cute and fun! On our last day, one of the CM's at the Emporium, got everyone's attention and had everyone wish us, "Happy Anniversary". It was a bit embarrassing but certainly something we will remember from this trip.

You can get the pins from Guest Relations, your resort, most stores and CS locations, and we saw a CM standing out on Main Street every morning with a basket of them.

I got a cupcake at cp breakfast and a signed card. The card was my favorite part. We got two cake pops at Main Street bakery from a very sweet cast member. Also the hotel had sent another card and some balloons! We also managed to come home with like a hundred stickers. i wasn't expecting anything and was so surprised by how many guests even wished the two of us happy birthdays which ended up leading to many great conversations on our trip! I say wear it with pride we are all children at heart in Disney after all
