Birthday Badges

We will be at WDW for Christmas, and will also be celebrating DH's birthday. I want to present him with a "birthday badge" and insist he wear it. Our first park day will be at Epcot on Christmas Eve, and I know Guest Services will be crazy. There's no way that I'll be able to convince him that I have something to ask GS that will be important enough to deal with the mob Christmas week. Is there anyplace in DTD, or online that I can buy one? If not, any suggestions how I can discreetly get one, without him being suspicious? Thanks in advance for any info.

You can pick one up at Guest Services at DTD. But, are you aware that each park has it's own Birthday button? Yep, MK & MGM (same button as of June 2004), Epcot, AK and DTD each have their own birthday button. We found this out when DBF was celebrating his birthday 'trip'. We neither asked for nor received no special treatment, but had a blast clelbrating his birthday 6 months late(or early). Heck, he was even serenaded by a newly engaged couple (and I think they're members of the DIS family) at the HM during an E-ticket night.

Would you be able to make one for him before you go? It would likely have the same effect (letting CM's to know it's his Special Day) and you could avoid the Guest Services crowds.

Of course, it's fun to have the 'real thing' as a token for the scrapbook, but better a home made one than none if you have to fight the crowds!
