Are adults able to get the free birthday button at MK's Town Hall, or is that reserved for kids? We'll be there on my bday and I'm tempted to get one as a keepsake, but don't know if that will make me a big dork. ;)

I sure wish I could help you out. I have the same question. I am worried about looking foolish, but think it would be so much fun. I have always wanted to celebrate my Birthday at WDW and am finally doing it at 32! I can't wait. :hyper:

Hi all,

They are for everyone. We were just in WDW
over July 4th week and got one for my DW from
MK in the morning and epcot in the afternoon.
We have great video of the barber shop quartet
singing her happy birthday. My daughters enjoyed
this alot. Have a great time.

I have seen adults with them. You are in WDW, you wont look like a dork. You are supposed to be living your second childhood there.

Speaking of those badges I will throw in a neat story. It was DDs 8th Bday. We were waliking down Main St and saw the Mayor. My mom and DD went up too talk with him. My mom told him it was DDs 8th Bday. He said you need to get a badge and proceeded to walk her hand in hand back towards town hall all the while hollering "its Kristians birthday, Kristian is 8 today"

Well everyone that came in shouting distance of her hollered back "happy birthday Kristian"

It was so cool, a magical moment indeed. And all day people CMs would make a big deal about her Bday.

Good to know! I just wasn't sure if it was something that's reserved for kids and would be frowned upon for an adult to get one. I guess I was thinking to much about the "real" world, and not how they do things in WDW!

We went to AK for my birthday. DH forced me to wear a birthday button (you can get them at all 4 parks). I have to admit, it was really cool! We had an early lunch at Pizzafari. A large group of CMs came up and sang "Happy Birthday" to me, and presented me with a free dessert pizza.

Lots of CMs wished me happy birthday. Once CM seranaded me with a funny song. A CM on PW kept playfully spraying me with a misting fan (it was very hot that day) as the car moved along the platform, saying "happy birthday!" with each spray. It was all very silly and fun, and it really made my day.
