Birthday at MK on a Saturday---too busy???

This will be our 1st trip to WDW and my son will turn 7 on May 13th...a Saturday. We 'll be flying in on the 7th and I think we'll do MK on the 8th and maybe the 9th. Should we skip going on the 9th and go on the 13th instead, since it is his bday? I'm just wondering how crowded it will be on Sat. Any help's appreciated!!!

We visited the MK on a Saturday morning this past June. As long as you get there before or at park opening you should be fine. We found the park really quiet for the first few hours with the exception of Tomorrowland which was very busy.
A good rule of thumb is if you get to any park early you can do a lot before you big crowds arrive.
