Is there still a princess celebration around lunch time and does anyone know if they can do something special for a 4 year olds birthday?

We just got back and we celebrated my daughter's 7th birthday there. We were told that we could take a picture with Ariel as a family (6 of us total) or just the kids but not individual pictures. She wouldn't even take a picture with my daughter who was turing 7. We asked and she kindly told us that many of her friends (the other people waiting to be seated) were waiting to take their picture with her. Luckily, Ariel is not my daughter's favorite princess so it didn't bother her too much.

We had a time of 4:30 p.m. I can't remember if that was considered lunch or dinner but they told us that was the last time that they had reservations for that day.

They brought out a cupcake and a worker there had everyone sing Happy Birthday to her. It was great! Her favorite Princess was there, Snow WHite, but she 's not always there. I don't even think they can tell you who is going to be there until that day.

The food was good though with all the picture taking and everything going on I didn't enjoy it as much. My kids ate everything though.

Hope this helps a bit.

Pippi, did you tell them ahead of time it was her birthday, or did they find out when you got there?

My son (yes, son) wants his b'day with princesses, so we're going for breakfast on the 26th. :) We don't need a cupcake, but recognition will be extra fun for him! :goodvibes

Molly, when we went for Jade's b-day (DD8 in Dec) we told them when we got there. We had the first seating for breakfast. They brought Jade her b-day button and Cinderella did a few special things for her, she got a b-day wish from each Princess and then at the end they had the whole place sing to her. LOL She wouldn't stand up for it, she was embarrassed but she did have fun. :)

Thanks, pixie! Good to know they have b'day buttons there, just in case I can't make it to city hall the night before or before the PS.

We went on April 20th and I had told the PS people when I made reservations that it was my daughter's birthday trip. When we went downstairs to see Ariel she greeted Sarah and said something about her birthday. My daughter's eyes got SOOO big.

That night they did 4 birthday celebrations. I didn't pay for the birthday bucket and all that (which is how I think you get the crowd to sing to you), my daughter would have bawled if the whole room was watching her and signing to her.

My camera wasn't ready for a picture that night, but we went back on Monday and I got one picture of the Ariel and Sarah. Ariel is Sarah's favorite. BUT after meeting Jasmine at Ariel's, Jasmine is now a top favorite as well (including Belle). The Belle was AMAZING and soo sweet. They were all super but Belle was super. Would be nice if they had PhotoPass, but they do have a photographer there taking pictures when you enter, then you can buy a picture of your kid and Ariel for a fee (I think it was around $30 but I couldn't afford whatever it was).

"my daughter would have bawled if the whole room was watching her and signing to her. "

That's how I would have been! Ds, however, got hubby's joy about b'day celebrations, and loves hearing the song. :goodvibes

I'm going to Ariel's Grotto for my birthday trip in 2 weeks! We're going for breakfast..

And yes, I'm 21.

We told them at the restaurant that we were celebrating DD 3rd b-day. They brought out a cup of ice cream with a candle in it (DD called it her birthday cake) and all the servers sang happy birthday. Then they gave her a really cool Snow White trader pin. Saw Ariel (at entrance), Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Only one we didn't see was Belle, which DD doesn't really know anyway. It was great. DD was jumping up and down screaming "Mommy, it's Cinderella, it's Cinderella." "There's my Snow White. Come here my Snow White." Her reactions were worth all the money. And she did get a free toddler meal (one fish plank, green beans, and mashed potatoes, with a drink). I was very surprised by that.
