I just received my youngest daughter's birth certificate in the mail and we sail in 15 days. Apparently in a sleep deprived state I made an error when filling out her birth certificate when she was born. Instead of putting my middle name, I put hers, on the mother's name. For example:
Name: Jane Doe Smith
Mother's name: Jenny Doe Maiden when really it is Jenny Deer Maiden.
I have an accurate birth certificate for me and for her 2 older sisters. Her name is accurate on hers.
Will this middle name issue cause me any trouble?
I've tried contacting Vital Statistics where we live but with the holiday they are not in. Since I'm on such a tight timeframe I'm hoping someone has experience with something similar. Thanks!
