Ok this may have been asked before, can't remember and I can never get the search to work. But have seen these sandals mentioned quite a bit, just want to see which one the DIS prefers the most.

Edit: these won't be for Disney, I prefer sneakers for that. I just want a good pair of sandals, normally I am a flip flop girl.

I like Tevas, but then I don't have Birks. I also wear my Rainbows.:)

I'm a birkenstock gal:thumbsup2

Only a few styles are waterproof though if that is a concern.

I like my Reef flipflops.

I love my NAOTs. I wore them for 6 days at WDW and it was like I had nothing on my feet. Verrrry comfy, pricey, but verrrrry comfy. :thumbsup2

I voted Birks (I have over 30 pairs) but if you like aggressive arch support I really like Chacos.

I have a pair of Mephisto's that I wear often, and a pair of Reef flip flops with the bottle opener on the sole that I use to the beach.

What, no CROC'S:faint:
I love their flip flops

Birks make my feet smell and the cork gets gross really fast. Too fast to justify the cost.

Waterproof doesn't matter.

Thanks everyone.

I suggest NO waterproof.

IME, waterproof footwear generally does nothing other than add heat, since the chemicals used to treat the material seal it quite well.

Crocs are part of the other, though a lot on here love them too.

Will not get waterproof then, thanks.

I already posted that I like Tevas, just wanted to mention that 2 pair are flip flops, one the Mush style, one the criss/cross(don't know the style name) but there are more that one strap crossing over your toes and then one pair of Tevas that are not flip flops and have a strap across your toes and one around your ankle. I prefer the flip flops, probably the mush style the most.:)

Keen! I have a pair of Venice H2s which I LOVE. I'm currently looking for a 2nd pair during the winter sales.

They are not the cutest things out there, but super comfy

I love my Keens.

**JINX** We posted at the same time!! Great minds think alike!!

I bought some Nike ACG sandals last year that have carried me through WDW (and around and around the World Showcase) many times. (I know you're not buying them for WDW!)

They were the most comfortable sandals I could find at Sports Authority. I ALMOST didn't buy them when I realized they were water-sports sandals (which I didn't need--I already have water shoes for kayaking), but I'm so glad I did.

I've had Tevas, Birks, Mephistos, but the most practical, comfortable, and durable everyday footwear I've tried are...Crocs. :)
