DW just brought up a very important thing I had not thought of. THe biometric scanners use your index and middle finger. DW is missing her right index finger. It was removed during a surgery to remove cancer. How is she to use the scanners correctly?

She'll just need to show her ID. I had problem with my biometrics last time at WDW and I just showed my ID to verify that it was me.

I had actually wondered the same thing when we were there last week...

Have ID ready, but I believe that biometrics aren't necessary for kids aged 10 and under and anyone physically unable to do the biometric scan.

While I was there I saw several people in scooter go through without using the bioscaners because they could not reach them. They showed ID and the CM fed the ticket through the machine.

Great. Thanks. She was kinda of worried about this. I joked with her that they would tell her that Walt Disney World has no place for the disabled. Yeah, I got hit. :headache: :confused3 LOL

My DD is disabled and uses a wheelchair. She has had an AP for many years; AP have used biometrics for a long, long time.
They do not expect and don't ask her to do the biometrics. She does have ID, but they usually don't even ask for it (probably because she is with other people whose biometrics do wotk).
