We are on this exact same cruise next June, 2006! (well, June 24th Western). Not to hijack the thread (and promise I won't), but how was the weather this week and did you like crusing at this time?

I didn't win the Jackpot of over $6500 on the July 2 cruise, but my wife won one of the last games in the Walt Disney Theatre. We had to split the pot with one other winner but it was still a good pot. There were 9 winners of the four in a group that ended up splitting a smaller pot, so we were happy :)

Thx Shacky,

I guess I'm going to have to play!! :cool1:

We were on the 1st cruise after the repo. Que was there for the last day's game, but did not call Bingo. He did call the one other game I played early in the week. I was disappointed at not hearing him call the last game. He is so much fun.

So on a thread like this, when a poster asks a question about the topic of this thread like, "Can you share the 35$ package?" Why is it that everyone who posts after that question totally disregards the question and has a personal conversation about who is calling the Bingo game? Do you have to be invited to join in on a thread to get a queston answered? I have been waiting for an answer to that question now for 2 days.

There are three packages. The priciest one (The Ultimate) costs $50, which is the same size (six boards per game) as the middle package (can't remember how much that one is) but with an extra sheet of six for the last game. The last game is the blackout game where the big snowball jackpot is up for grabs. DS, DH and I shared a $50 pack this way: I sat in the middle with the cards, they each looked on and helped find the spots to push. For the last game, DS and DH shared one card and I did the other one. The cards aren't perforated so you can tear them apart and give some to another player, if that's what you are asking. The cheapest pack has only three boards per game.

Last week on the Magic, Dezzler (?) was calling the bingo game. Que is gone, apparently.

Well I'm pretty new to the Disboard, but I'm getting to understand some of the in's and outs. People have been very helpful since the first moment I started posting questions just a bit ago, whether I get one answer or 20. I've picked up a few things about the best way to get a response.

A) do a search before asking a question, generally it's been asked a million times before and is readily available if you look for it. Waiting for an answer can take longer then just doing the search, and you can find tons of info.

B) placing a question in the middle of another post isn't the surest way to get an answer. While the topics are similar, that does not mean the questions are totally relatable. Ex. The OP asked what new things had happened with Bingo since they'd played...someone let them know that something about the game had changed. Still within topic...this lead to a conversation on that change. You see, there was a natural flow that was all related. The question regarding the basics of playing Bingo on ship was in the middle of this...maybe the people don't know, maybe they weren't interested. It's their right to respond to what they're interested in. Was that person wrong to put that question in there? Heck no, I've done it lots of time...and I haven't had the best response ;) ! So if you really want an answer to a question, it's just best to start your own post. That way, people who can answer can click on it if they choose.

Thanks for that Awesome detailed answer!! Great to know. Thanks for the response. I love Bingo, so I will probably not want to share anyway, that is even if I will be able to play with 2 little one's in tow!! I really hope that I can play!! So Babs, next time START YOUR OWN THREAD, troublemaker!! :rotfl2: ;)
