Is there ANY summer dress in the whole wide world that would look good on someone with flappy upper arms? I must have tried on a bazillion dresses, and the sleeves are either REALLY short :sad2:, capped , or not there at all :scared:! These are NOT good for flattering the arms, bleh.

Can anyone make a recommendation for me (that won't cost a fortune)? I've lost significant weight and am in the process of toning, but I have a wedding to go to in a couple of months and will need a dress... :confused3

Thanks in advance for any/all suggestions!

omg :lmao: "bingo wings" :rotfl: That's what hubs calls em. Gives me the giggles everytime. (btw, give Jillian Michaels 30 day shred a try for toning, really love that program, and it's only 20 mins a pop)
I wish I could offer up advice, I hate stupid cap sleeves...those only seem to look good if you have toothpick arms, which 99 percent of us don't. Have you tried maybe Ann Taylor Loft or Talbots? Sometimes they have more traditional/classic looks.
I have this issue with tshirts too....

Saw some cute little crochet shrugs at the mall last week. You could wear one over your dress and hide the wings without getting too hot. Look in junior's departments - and good luck!

They are all over the place this year. I just bought a dress for DS's graduation and most styles have a shrug with them, for which I am thankful :rolleyes1.

LOL I thought this was a post about eating wings, and playing bingo in a summer dress:lmao:

Hmmm! Maybe I can find a nice light shrug to go over some of these dresses, that would be cool! I had my heart set on a gorgeous dress with thinthin straps (are they still spaghetti straps?) but the arms... yeah. And, I bet I could find lots of reasons to use the shrug other times (couple of menopausal women in the office, it gets COLD in there sometimes!) :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for the suggestions! :grouphug:

I bought two sleeveless dresses this year out of desperation. I don't have bingo arms but my arms are pasty white and I'm 46. I just hate the way my skin looks. Anyway, I went out and got some cool shrugs to go over them. I got a brown one at Dress Barn and an aqua blue one at Kohl's.

Also, go to JC Penney and look at their Jones New York line. They have many jersey type skirt/top combination outfits and the tops have a decent sleeve on them.
