How much is bingo?

How do the hand held machines work?

DD wants to do this but don't want to spend a lot of money.

I have never played bingo, but have walked by the lounge when it's being played. In the fall of 2014 the cheapest set of paper cards was $30.

You can share. We bought some kind of family pack which was $60-70 and you get two paper cards and two electronic cards. There were four of us and we each took one card.

Oh thanks, no I've the "B11, BB11" in my head! :music:

Last year we played on the Wonder in Alaska and we paid for the first game and then at the end of the session they gave a secret code to use at the next session for a free punch card. We did this throughout the rest of the cruise so we could play along free, knowing we had a zero to none chance of winning, but it was fun! The last jackpot Bingo we did pay. The last round is more expensive than the others throughout the week.

We just went on the Fantasy in May and paid the first game, they did give a secret password, but it could only be used "with a purchase". We did continue to play during the week and paying + free card. My DD and I would go and we got the package for $60 that gave 1 electronic (48 cards per game) and 1 book of punch cards (3 cards per game). DD did win a round which was fun. She's been enjoying her summer spending money (minus the Bingo fee!). The final jackpot round was more expensive (I can't remember the exact price), but you got a discount if you'd played at least 3 sessions during the cruise.

Even though it is pricey we enjoyed our time there. I did enjoy it with the free cards even better! ;)

We didn't win but they gave everyone a free DCL calendar. It was fun and I will definitely do it again.

We love playing bingo. I don't really remember how much it was, but we got the cheapest one that included the hand held device. The hand held is awesome for my daughter who has cerebral palsy. She has too much trouble doing the paper ones, but can totally play with the hand held device and completely enjoy herself without becoming frustrated with the paper ones. Plus, the little stinker has won on every cruise she has played! The crew staff make the game a lot of fun and they always have free goodies to give away. Enjoy!

We paid $30 for paper cards. I think that was the least expensive option. Like others have said, it was quite fun and we will do it next time too!

Any age can play but in order for a minor to collect a win they must be with an adult. When my 12 yr old DD won they took my card to apply the winnings.

Its as much an entertainment thing as it is bingo. It's nowhere near as cheap as say, Bingo at your local Church or retirement center.

With the hand held machines you don't really have to even "play"-it does it all for you, including putting your "best card" on the viewer.

That said we played twice and spent a few enjoyable hours!

We love playing BINGO on the ships. On our Wonder cruise a couple weeks ago we got the pack for $50 that was 1 48-card electronic handset and 1 3-card paperpack. We also would keep track of the magic word/phrase to get a free card the next game.

It is a lot of fun. We did the family pack and got two machines and one stack of punch and fold cards. Is Chris the one that looks like Eminem? We had Christina from Brittan also. The CM's keep it entertaining. They have different themed days. We had a member of our Disgroup win the final jackpot of almost $4000 one cruise. Its about $60 to play but there are lower priced options. The electronic does everything for you.

We played on the Dream just a few weeks ago. Was a lot of fun. They also gave away spa treatments between each game. We did the family pack which was $80 for two machines and two cards, all good for 4 games each. Will definitely play again in April.

We even be more fun if I actually won something---

Thanks for the pic's, looking forward to this on our Sept 5th Fantasy cruise. Is the price per night or for the whole cruise?
