Binging Microwave??

Has anyone every brought a microwave with them for the hotel room?

If you are staying at a WDW resort, just use the food court ones.

Based on the thread title, I thought this was going to be a discussion about the noises that microwaves make when you set the time and when the cooking is done. Maybe something like - if you use the microwave in a DVC villa, would the noise that it makes awaken others who are sleeping.

The one I have at home makes a "binging" sound every time you push a button.

Just use the food court microwave.

If we are not on the Dining plan, we ALWAYS take both a MW nd dorm-sized fridge along with us.

Our rooms are usually a half-day treck to get to the food court, so using the MW there is not practical.

DH loves to have his MW popcorn as a late night snack.
We also like to be able to heat thingss up for meals.

We take along MW breakfast sandwiches, dry soups, spaghettios, and other stuff like that.
I usually take a frozen casserole for the first day's dinner and by the time we want to eat it, it is thawed enough to cut through and then heat up.

When we are on the DP, we get way more than enough food and have no need for the MW.

We asked and was told it was okay when we stayed at the value resort 3 years ago. We took a micro and mini frig with us. Now we even take the sink. We are camping now in our own camper. HA HA!!

Okay, take your microwave and fridge if it makes you happy, I would, but, where do you have room for all those extra appliances in your vehicle, and doesn't it make it hard to get to your room? If our room is ever too far from food courts, we drive around to the food court, then drive back. LOL I have so much other stuff to worry about with Me, DH, DD10, DD9, and DD5, can't imagine bringing a microwave and fridge!!
