I got a Bind it All for Christmas

I was wondering if people could share any tips.

Who is the best supplier for covers and stuff?

What kinds of projects have you punched?

Have you punched and used regular page protectors? I was thinking of doing that for my next CJ.

TIA!!!

hey thanks Deb!
i have the very same questions. so i'm anxious for these answers also.
thanks for starting this thread. i went to my lss and picked up some more chipboard and the rings for a project that's on my list.
oh good grief i have so many projects on my list it's not even funny!!!:rotfl:

I LOVE the Bind-It-All. I use it for all kinds of projects:

CD Mini Album Cover
Album Page 1

Seed Packet Mini Album

Princess Wall Hanging

If you are one of the lucky ones to live near an archiver's store they have a GREAT selection of products for covers, pages, and chipboard inserts.

I also used it as the binding to make an itinerary and journal book for our last WDW trip! I would post a picture...but I am not sure where it has gotten to... :)

sharon those are all lovely. thanks for sharing them with us.

i don't have an archivers near me. so i'll have to stick to my lss.

Sharon, will you explain how to make the bindings longer than the 3 inches it cuts. The instructions make no sense to me. Say I want to make a book that is 12 x 6 and I want the coils to go on the 12" side, how do I do it?

Those videos on YouTube are excellent for showing the demo on how to punch longer projects. It is hard to explain in words, but basically you will just move the sheets and punch more holes, like with a border punch. There are guide stops on the side to help you. The YouTube video is very helpful in showing how to use the guide stops on the side! I can't wait to see what you make!

Thanks so much for sharing!! I love those ideas. Especially the CD one as I have a STACK of them, and wasn't sure if I could use them in the machine! I can see a few gifts coming out of those now :teeth:

No archivers around here either. I'm stuck with the big 3, and a LSS. I have to call her and see if she carries anything.

I have an Archivers. I'm okay being personal shoppers if someone needs one.
Not that I need an excuse to go into that store. :rolleyes1

Thanks for links. I'll be trying those out after the little ones get on the bus.

oh good! i might have to take you up on that!

Hobby Lobby carries the supplies, but not a great selection in the choice of O-wire colors. Bonus: every few weeks they go on sale!:cool1:

I am actually going to make our autograph books using the BIA. I will be making 8x8 books. I chose the acrylic covers. We go next week!

I love my BIA:love:

I LOVE Cindy's service (www.stampingscrapping.com)! She ships out IMMEDIATELY, only charges actual shipping (refunds if cart charges more) and is extremely helpful. In fact, I got my bia and dreamkutz from her!

I don't have an archivers and my HL is really bare :(

My BIA is another one of my tools I've purchased but haven't had a chance to use yet.
I ordered my BIA and supplies from www.bluemoonscrapbooking.com ... they offer free shipping on orders over $50. I also stocked up on wires and covers on our last trip to AL ... I planned our return home trip on a Monday morning opening of Hobby Lobby ... we don't have them in Jersey.

OK, I've looked and there are no 12x12 covers for the BIA? Did I miss something?

I joined a yahoo group for it, and I'm hoping that I get some info and tips there too. If I learn anything new, I'll pass it along...

i think my lss had the 12x12??:confused3
want me to check this weekend deb?

If you are there, that would be great!!

I did find the wooden 12x12 covers when I did a search for them. Those look nice too.

iu97alum- do you have any pics of the cereal box ones? Are there instructions somewhere? Did you double them, or was it strong enough just with the paper on both sides? TIA :)
