On paper this place looks great. I just wanted to warn everyone that in reality it is not. Everyone living here myself included pretty much is in a 1 year lease because they are worthless as vacation homes.
The pool is a year away from being done. The clubhouse has looked the same for the last 4 months that we have been here. A metal frame with nothing more. We only got internet last month. No guard at the guard gate. Guard gate does not even function. Older buildings have algae build up on the outside.
Even though almost everyone here is long term for the moment they took two weeks off for Christmas and closed the front office. Why is this a problem? Well we do not have mail boxes yet because they tried to use cheap mail boxes and the post office had a fit. So all our mail goes to the leasing/sales office. Guess what no cards or gifts from the Friday before Christmas which meant all my son's gifts were caught in Limbo.
Everything used material wise in the building of these homes was cheap poor quality. Light fixtures dropped out of the celling. Electrical wiring is done as cheaply as possible which means 3 lights on one switch. Cheap windows cause high electric bills. UGH. I can go on but I wont.
Lets not forget the name of the development. Perhaps that should have been a clue first and foremost.
