Billy Hill - Golden Horseshoe dining question

One thing you might want to know ---

If you sit in the tables right on each side of the stage, you have to climb a couple of steps and separated by red curtains, you WILL become a part of the show. Anyone can sit in those areas, but you will be picked on.

I personally think it's pretty fun :goodvibes

I wouldn't count on it since they actually let one whole team go (green team). They are down to 2 teams now (gold and blue), and they are required to have time off, therefore no shows on Tues and Wed.

The Laughing Stock Company does still perform in front of the Golden Horseshoe on Tues and Wed.

Thanks DM I wasn't aware they'd fired a whole team! Nor was I aware they had the Laughing Stock Co in there. hmmmm

Do you know if they performed this past Tuesday? They aren't listed next week Tuesday or Wednesday.

Nope, sorry, I haven't been there for a few weeks and when we go it's on the weekend not these days. I was just speaking from my experiences in past years.

Since February the Billy Hill show has been dark on Tues. and Wed.

The Laughing Stock Co. performs in the GH on Tues. and Wed.

:earsboy:

I didn't know about the Laughing Stock, maybe we will be able to check that out on our July trip. First day is a Wed. :)

Anyone know which days the original Billys perform?

Billy Gold (consisting of John, Kirk, Dennis, and Duane or Rick) will perform Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, while Billy Blue (consisting of Kirk, Dennis, Anders and Rick) will perform Sundays and Mondays. Per usual, all of this information is subject to change on the whim of the Disney Entertainment Management.

Am I reading this correctly, Kirk performs in all the Billy performances?
Thanks, Jean

Oh good, His brother was my daughter's lit teacher and his sister-in-law is my DD's voice teacher. So we are excited to see him. We have never seen the show before.

thanks,
Jean

I don't know if anyone else has done this, but because the food at the show is all deep fried - mozzarella sticks, fish and chips etc - we brought over some Mexican from Rancho de Zocala and ate that during the show.

A great improvement! (someone asked me where we got it from and headed off to do the same thing!)
We did exactly the same thing last time we went. Didn't want the fried foods, so opted for some good Mexican. I don't think they mind at all about bringing food in. The time before that, we bought in good ole Dole Whips and enjoyed the show. Although, if you like ice cream, it looks like they make some pretty good sundaes right there!:cloud9:
