Drove to GA from NYC today and staying the night, kids have no idea we are going to Disney tomorrow. This is my first time driving there so have a question regarding billboards on i4, are there a lot of Disney advertisements on the side of the road, my older kid can read and I don't want to spoil the surprise.

I don't recall billboards .. but as you get close there will be highway signs giving the distance to the exits . . . but you'll be in Orlando by then . .

Its not like South of the Border, where the billboards appear (or did) hundreds of miles away, but as you get close there will be more of a Disney presence. I can't remember if there are billboards, but I think there are once you get into the Lake Buena Vista area. Of course, if you've kept the secret that long, you're probably within 10 minutes of your destination.

Lucky to be one of your kids today!

I drive down I95/I4 to WDW every year. You will see maybe one or two occasional billboards for WDW as soon as you get into Florida. Once you get past Sanford and start to get into Orlando you will start to notice more billboards for not only WDW but Universal, Sea World, etc. Once you get past the downtown Orlando area you will see a lot of signs indicating which exits to take for various WDW parks and resorts as well as more advertising.

living here I just don't pay much attention to billboards ... but now that I think about it on 528 between the airport and WDW there are several but as mentioned you are within 15 minutes by then . . . and u won't be on 528.

and I was about to draw a comparison to South of the Border but got beat to it!

Stop on the way home if you can .... it is a bit of nostalgia so far as 'road side attractions go and not a bad place for lunch/dinner and gas . .

Tell 'em captain Pedro sent you!
