Bill O'Reilly - I cant be the only one!

Agreed, how about Bill Clinton and the esteemed Edward M. Kennedy to name the most visible? Quite honestly they all belong in the same group. Fortunately I don't look to my politicians and political commentators for moral values and neither should anyone else.

And much to the amazement of my most of my friends, I passed on both opportunities to vote for Clinton. (It was the "I did not inhale" quote that made me seriously question his sincerity.) On the other hand, when it comes to results, he looks like a knight in shining armor when compared to the current occupant of the office.

I agree with you Mugg. I didn't vote for Clinton...I even voted for Bush the first time around and considered myself to be mostly a libertarian/republican.....then teh Bush Administration and these neo-republicans trampled all over the Constitution and stuffed the pockets of pet corporations every chance they got while giving the American people the shaft so I woke up. With the exception of McCain and perhaps one other, not a single republican deserves to remain in office.

I am currently a registered Democrat. Truth be known, in most political placement tests I take, I come out as centrist - but clearly Republican.
I just don't think the Republican Party currently respects my views of what a Republican should be ...... :confused3 :confused3

So that makes it all good? He's a chauvanist and a mysogenist. He spews hate in public every day just like I'm doing here right now. You think that's OK? How about if we choose to follow some positive role models, some people who are genuinely nice? Wouldn't THAT be fun?

:scared1:

I think Bill O'Reilly is HOT. Oooo, his nervous laughter when he's caught in a falsehood or exaggeration, that overdone make-up, especially the blush, when Al Franken brought him to near tears over Lyin' Liars; that's one ragin' meterosexual. Who could resist that?

Oh those mean old neo-cons "trampling" over the constitution and shafting the American people. Well, I'm an American, and I very thankful for the current Bush Administration.

What pet corporations??

I don't always agree with him, but hate??

I'm thankful that we only have two more years of Bush.

What pet corporations??

Halliburton, McGraw Hill, Booze Allen Hamilton, Fox News and Rupert Murdock, Exxon Mobile et al, ...anyone care to add to the list?

And although it does seem like the mouth piece has been in office an awfully long timek, unfortunately we have nearly three LOOOOONNNG years left with the shrub - not two.

Holy cow...I'm still reeling at the "great American thinker" comment from pages back.

No wonder our educational system is trailing so woefully behind other nations if O'Reilly is what passes for thinking in this country.

Makes me what to hurl copies of Plato and Aristotle at the heads of everyone here.

Don't forget Enron, or is Bush still attempting to claim that he had no relationship with Ken Lay even though that position has been thoroughly discredited?

How many other oil companies met privately with Dick Cheney?

I'm with you....I sincerely hope you have good aim! :rotfl2:

I do think it's a bit ironic that liberals get their knickers in a twist about news show commentator, when it didn't bother them in the least when their president did far worse in the oval office. :sad2:

I beg your pardon. I have my knickers in a twist over BO's harrasment of a female employee and I hated what Clinton did in the Oval Office too. He was a horrible cad and his behavior was inexcusable. But, Clinton did have the permission and compliance(in fact pursuit by her) of the female involved and BO's harrassment victim was in no way interested in him nor his suggestions. He's just plain sick to call an aquaintence with that kind of lewd behavior. Yes, they BOTH have sexual addiction problems. SO-does Clinton's behavior in some way let BO off the hook? Your implication that BO should be absolved because of the behavior of someone he is in no way related to is just juevenile. "Mom, all the other guys do it!!!" I'm a parent and that argument just doesn't fly.

Haven't read the thread. I am what passes for conservative, BTW and I think O'Reilly is a idiot at best. He is one of many reasons I don't watch any cable news at all any longer. A waste of bandwidth all the way round.

Galahad, I totally agree with you. But sadly, many take this commentator's word as a news source. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3
